Dr. Goldman is amazing! I came here for my permanent eyeliner removal (which is not offered anywhere near me), and they are completely removed in just one session. They use a special contact lens to protect your eyes from the laser, and there are no damages to my eyelashes. The healing was also nice and smooth. They have everything you need. I live almost 3 hours away, but it was totally worth the trip. For anyone who is looking to remove their permanent makeup, this is the right place to go :)-

Sculptra® is a poly L lactic acid biostimulator rather than a traditional hyaluronic acid filler. Instead of primarily adding gel based volume, it supports fibroblastic function to enhance hyaluronic acid, collagen, and elastic fiber production. Changes develop gradually as the skin’s underlying support structure improves, creating natural looking facial rejuvenation.
The cost depends on the number of vials needed, the areas treated, the degree of facial volume loss, and the number of recommended sessions. Because every patient has different anatomy and aesthetic goals, an exact price is provided after an in person consultation at Cosmetic Laser Dermatology. The treatment plan may also include other injectable or energy based treatments when a combined approach would provide greater benefit.
Neither option is universally better because they address different concerns. Sculptra gradually supports fibroblastic function and enhances hyaluronic acid, collagen, and elastic fiber production across broader areas of facial volume loss. Hyaluronic acid fillers add more immediate and precisely placed volume, making them useful for areas requiring defined contour or focused correction. In some cases, both treatments can be combined to address immediate structure and progressive skin support.
Both are injectable biostimulators, but their ingredients and treatment characteristics differ. Sculptra contains poly L lactic acid and creates gradual changes by supporting fibroblastic function and enhancing hyaluronic acid, collagen, and elastic fiber production. Radiesse contains calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres in a gel carrier, which can provide immediate structural support while also enhancing hyaluronic acid, collagen, and elastic fiber production over time. The best option depends on the area being treated, the amount of support needed, and how quickly the patient would like to see a visible change.
Most patients experience limited disruption to their normal routine. Temporary swelling, redness, bruising, tenderness, itching, or soreness may occur around the injection sites and generally improves as the area heals. Small bumps or nodules are also possible, which is why treatment technique, product placement, and aftercare instructions are important. Individual experiences vary.
Sculptra cannot be dissolved with hyaluronidase because it is not a hyaluronic acid filler. Its poly L lactic acid particles are gradually absorbed by the body as they support fibroblastic function and enhance hyaluronic acid, collagen, and elastic fiber production. Careful patient selection, conservative placement, and treatment by an experienced board certified dermatologist are especially important because the product cannot be immediately reversed.
Sculptra should not be injected into the periorbital area surrounding the eyes. Patients concerned about under eye hollows, wrinkles, or skin quality may be better candidates for another injectable, laser treatment, or a proprietary combination treatment such as Take10Eyes. A board certified dermatologist can evaluate the cause of the concern and recommend an option suited to the delicate eye area.
